Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Employee Assistance Program Documents

Each Federal Agency has an Employee Assistance Program. These EAP programs should not be trusted by employees, they can and will release information they deem "of concern" to your supervisors. If you work in the Intelligence Community and get EAP counseling you could lose your security clearance. It is smarter to get your own mental health professional, pay some extra money, get competent treatment and avoid any of these so-called Government EAP programs.

The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) produces a lot of propaganda touting the benefits of EAP. Again, I recommend you avoid going to the government for any of your mental health needs. I know private mental health treatment can be quite expensive but you get what you pay for. If you are a Federal employee, you've already got better health insurance than most Americans, fork over the extra dollars, don't be stupid and confide in an EAP counselor. EAP is another Federal Government make work program for unqualified mental health professionals.

My CIA abuser in Chief, Dr. Sally Ann Urbanczyk once headed the CIA's EAP, enough said.
